COVID-19 POLICIES

A lot has changed within the salon industry relative to governmental guidance in response to COVID-19 and we wanted to share The Parlor Salon's newest policies that have been instituted and will be followed over the coming weeks and possibly months ahead. In addition to heightened cleaning and disinfecting protocols, we ask that all Parlor Salon clientele adhere to the below requirements until further notice from state and local officials.    

1: Feeling Sick, Have or Had a Fever within 48 Hours

 

If you or anyone you've been in contact with (family, friends or co-worker's) have been sick, have had a fever or have had any other symptom related to COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to your appointment we respectfully ask that you contact The Parlor Salon no less than 24 hrs in advance of your scheduled appointment to reschedule for a later date. We will do our very best to accommodate re-booking your services at our most earliest convenience.

 

Any client who arrive to their appointment demonstrating illness or symptoms will be asked to reschedule.

2: Waiting Area

 

Only clients who have scheduled appointments will be allowed in the salon at any given time and; therefore, the waiting area will be closed until further notice. 

Multiple Appointments in 1 Day 

If you have children or other family members who all have appointments scheduled on the same day only (1) child or (1) family member will be allowed in at a time.  We ask that parents and children who are waiting for their service to wait in their vehicles until notified by phone that the next child's or family member's appointment may commence.  The purpose of this is to maintain the guidance of sanitation and social distancing.

 3: Your Scheduled Appointment

 

Upon arrival to the salon we ask you to please notify your stylist via text to let them know you have arrived or you may call the salon directly at 386-256-7434.

 

You will need to wait in your car until your stylist texts or calls you to come in. 

 

There will be a 15 minute wait after each client leaves the salon in order to properly disinfect and sanitize our stations before the next client is allowed to enter.

4: While you are Processing

 

While you are processing we will check you out and re-book your next appointment. 

 

We ask that you bring you own drinks. I will still serve my individual water bottles, but if you would like coffee or tea please bring in your own cup/mug.

 

The Parlor Salon will also provide hand sanitizer at the front reception desk for all those who would like to use it.

5: Face Masks

 

All stylist will be required to wear a mask as long as they are in the salon with clients.  Clients are not required to wear masks unless you feel the need to do so. 

 

If you do not have a mask when you arrive, but would like to wear one during your appointment, we have a limited supply on hand at the salon for you to purchase, at cost, for a  $1.99.

We recognize that these policies may be inconvenient, but The Parlor Salon is required to follow State guidelines until further notice in order to operate and conduct business.

 

I am hopeful that - sooner rather than later - things will be back to normal in the very near future.  I hope you understand that our intention is to keep the salon as safe, sanitized and as clean as possible to protect everyone's safety.
