The Parlor Salon continues to closely monitor the ever-changing COVID-19 situation. We will continue to update our website with information regarding impacts as this situation evolves. The Parlor Salon's newest policies have been instituted and updated as of 6/26/2020. In addition to heightened cleaning and disinfecting protocols, we ask that all Parlor Salon clientele adhere to the below requirements until further notice from state and local officials.

1: Feeling Sick, Have or Had a Fever within 48 Hours

If you or anyone you've been in contact with (family, friends or co-worker's) have been sick, have had a fever or have had any other symptom related to COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to your appointment we respectfully ask that you contact The Parlor Salon no less than 24 hrs in advance of your scheduled appointment to reschedule for a later date. Any client who arrive to their appointment demonstrating illness or symptoms will be asked to reschedule. We will do our very best to accommodate re-booking your services at our most earliest convenience, but a minimum of two weeks delay will be required for all clients who cancel due to illness or have been in contact with family, friends or co-worker's who demonstrate symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19.

2: Waiting Area and Reception

Waiting area will remain open to Parlor Salon clientele provided a mask is worn at all times.  The requirement to wait in your car prior to your appointment has been suspended until further notice.

We ask that you bring you own drinks. We will still serve bottled water, but if you would like coffee or tea please bring in your own cup/mug.

The Parlor Salon will also provide hand sanitizer at the front reception desk for all those who would like to use it.

3: Face Mask Requirements

At a special meeting on Friday, June 26, the city commissioners of Daytona Beach adopted a resolution requiring people working, living, visiting or doing business in the City of Daytona Beach to wear a face covering in any indoor location, other than a home or residence, when social distancing is not possible in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The face covering requirement is effective as of 12:01 a.m. Sunday, June 28.

Therefore effective as of Sunday, June 28, all Parlor Salon Stylists and Clientele will be required to wear masks at all times while inside the establishment.  If you do not have a mask when you arrive we have a limited supply on hand at the salon for you to purchase, at cost, for $1.99.  If any client refuses to wear a mask, we respectfully ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date.

The Parlor Salon's COVID-19 policies are subject to change as State guidelines for salon operations change. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly. Again, thank you all for being so patient, kind, understanding and faithful to The Parlor Salon.
